Philip Lutgendorf
Philip Lutgendorf, Professor Emeritus of Hindi and Modern Indian Studies at the University of Iowa, has written extensively on the Ramayana and Mahabharata epic traditions as well as on Bollywood cinema. He is the author of Hanumanā€™s Tale and translator of The Epic of Ram (7 vols.).
