Echo Vocal Ensemble presents Listening to Stillness
Described as “sublime, spirited…completely assured” by The Arts Desk, Echo Vocal Ensemble is an adventurous collective of singers recognised for flexibility, innovation, and excellence. The ensemble has performed at Queen Elizabeth Hall and Sadler's Wells, appeared live on BBC Radio 3, and served as Ensemble-in-Residence at the Ryedale Festival and St Magnus International Festival. The singers first met through Genesis Sixteen, the training programme of The Sixteen, and have since built a reputation for imaginative, multidisciplinary programming. Collaborators include Roger McGough, Gregory Maqoma, Polly Apfelbaum, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Hans Rosenström. Their debut album, INNOCENCE (2024), launched at Wigmore Hall in London, was praised by Gramophone and nominated for Best Newcomer at the BBC Music Magazine Awards 2025. Led by conductor Sarah Latto, Echo explores improvisation and immersive performance experiences.
Echo Vocal Ensemble and conductor Sarah Latto curate a meditative performance for Voices of Faith. Through moments sung in harmony and shared stillness, this experience invites listeners to slow down, listen deeply, and enter a space of attentiveness and peace.
